Eligibility to Attend Stanislaus County Traffic School:

You may choose to attend traffic school for certain moving
violations. You
are eligible if you are not currently attending traffic
school, have not attended traffic school for a citation
issued within the last 18 months or hold a Commercial Class
A, B or C license.

In addition to the bail amount indicated on your courtesy notice, a
non-refundable fee is due when you request traffic school. You
must also pay a fee to InterActive! Traffic School that you will
be attending. You must request traffic school prior to the
court date that is listed on the bottom of your citation.
· To request traffic school, please send the bail amount, plus the
administrative fee and a self addressed stamped envelope with
$.60 postage to the court. Once the court receives your
payment, you will be mailed the traffic school information
and your court date will be extended by three months to give you
time to successfully complete traffic school.

Your case will be dismissed when all fees are paid and the completion certificate showing successful completion of
traffic school is filed with the court.

IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE AND DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND TRAFFIC SCHOOL, YOUR
AUTO INSURANCE MAY BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED.

If you do not successfully complete traffic school, you will need
to return to court so that your case can be handled and
arrangements can be made to pay any balance owing.
