If you are ordered by a court to
take a driver improvement
traffic school course, the court
will provide you with
information regarding how to
enroll in a BMV-approved driver
improvement traffic school. The
court's staff will also provide
the date by which you must
satisfactorily complete the
court-ordered driver improvement
traffic school requirement. If
you are required by the BMV to
take a driver improvement
traffic school you will receive
information in a notice advising
you how to enroll in a driver
improvement traffic school.
All Motorists taking a driver
improvement traffic school
course must pay any fees
associated with the course.
PLEASE NOTE:
You have ninety days from the
date of the notice to complete
your driver improvement traffic
school requirement.
Completion of the course will
not remove a violation from your
record. However, you will
receive a four point credit on
your official Indiana Driver
Record. This credit may only be
applied once every three years.
